A very wintery scene greets the first morning light at Nobska Light, located in Woods Hole on Cape Cod. A single auto track shows the way up the winding road to Nobska Light. The beam from the lighthouse projects it's consistent light out toward Martha's Vineyard on this cold wintery morning.

Snow Kissed

Nobska Light poses a dominate outline in the early morning light after an overnight snowfall. The ocean is calm as it slowly creates a new shore outline with the tide. This view is known for capturing the enormous crowd of runners as they traverse the winding incline during the Falmouth Road Race in the Summer. This morning, all is peaceful at Nobska.

A single set of auto tracks and the snow fence are one's only guides to the road that leads to Nobska Light as an overnight snowstorm created a winter wonderland of this Cape Cod landmark.
